Students are strongly encouraged to stay in the courses selected prior to the start of the school year. Courses may be changed only for legitimate academic reasons. The change must be made within the first ten days of school. Before any course change is considered, students should address their concerns with their guidance counselor, teachers and parents. All course changes are made through Guidance using a course change form. Students are responsible for obtaining the proper signatures from teachers and parents/guardians. Once the form has been completed and returned to the Guidance Office, the course change will be in effect on the following school day, unless otherwise specified by their counselor. All changes after the 10th day must have the approval of the administration.
